Dodge Journey

Kudos, Dodge!  You have made this last search a challenging one.  The search for the Dodge Journey in the East began at noon with the unveiling of the first video clue of the day.  Beginning in Albany and heading north, we passed all the clues previously identified from the original commercial:  the Thaddeus Kosciuszko Bridge,   the World’s Largest Uncle Sam in Lake George, Eagle Lake,  and the Larrabees Point ferry landing in Vermont.  In addition, there was a new shot of the Wild West Ranch, which I assume is the one in Lake George located right next to the Magic Forest where the Uncle Sam statue stands. We also see the two sites identified from photo clues distributed by Dodge last night: the Malta Drive-in in Malta, N.Y., and the Ticonderoga ferry.  The video clue ends one shot after seeing the ferry landing.

Here’s the kicker — unlike the first search, which was in a 300-mile radius, and the second search, which was in a 200-mile radius, the search in the East is in a 500-mile radius from the starting point of Albany.  Of course, a third of that radius is in the Atlantic Ocean and another third is in Canada, which narrows the search area quite a bit.  Still, right now it could be anywhere between North Carolina, Maine and Detroit.

Subsequent clues will be revealed at 1, 2, 3, and 4 p.m., the final one of which only narrows the search to a 375-mile radius.   BTW, if you haven’t been following The Off Ramp the past week and don’t have any idea what I’m talking about at all, visit Dodge’s YouTube site for more information on the contest and stay tuned for updates today!
